This vapor actuated gauge features a sealed capillary tube and sensing bulb.

Contacts are grounded through the switchback case. When subjected to heat, the liquid in sensing bulb changes vapor creating pressure against diaphragm mechanism. The gauge mechanism is enclosed in a steel case coated to resist corrosion. This gauge has a self-cleaning motion to enhance electrical continuity.
